Horizon Certified Delivery Guarantee™

Horizon Homes are pleased to offer our customers a written guarantee that materials will be delivered in full, on time and to specification. We also protect customer payments using Safekiwi™ independent third party payment protection.

The guarantee and the use of Safekiwi™ third party payment protection is our way of providing our customers total peace of mind.

If a delivery is not completed in full, on time and/or to specification, Horizon Homes Limited will work with the local license holder to remedy the situation and, if necessary, contribute up to $10,000 towards the cost of additional materials, freight and/or labour costs incurred by the customer. Special conditions apply as below.

How do I obtain a Certified Delivery Guarantee™?

A Certified Delivery Guarantee™ certificate will be issued together with your final plans after receipt of your initial deposit form and payment.

What are the conditions under the guarantee?

There are some specific conditions required under the guarantee including:

• The customer must provide a representative to check and sign for materials as they are delivered to site.
• All material quantities are based on the plans & specifications provided by us and include, where applicable, standard wastage factors.
• All on site building work must be undertaken according to the manufacturers guidelines and any legal requirements, including full compliance with the NZ Building Code.
• Notification to Horizon Homes Limited of any claims under the guarantee must be received within 24 hours from the date of delivery.
• Full payment for materials must have been received within 72 hours of delivery.
• The delivery site must have all weather heavy vehicle access, otherwise the delivery will be unloaded as close as practicable to the intended building site.
• Specific exclusions include any event which could not have reasonably be foreseen such as adverse weather conditions, including natural or man made events which prevent access or delivery to the site.
